"Eurydice"was inspired by a modern retelling of the classical Orpheus myth, as presented in a play written by French writer Jean Anouilh in 1941.
The story takes place in the 1930s, among troupe of travelling performers, and explores the intensity of the relationship between Orpheus and Eurydice with an other-worldly mysticism. Through this lens, the play offers thought-provoking insights into the nature of.
