Metis Performing Arts

was created out of passion to promote highly  talented musicians, who due to their other commitments sometimes do not perform as often as they would like to.

The name "Metis" comes from the Greek mythology, and means "wisdom", "skill", "craft".

My first project "Have  A Very Christmas!" was presented at Carnegie Hall in December 2013. I took care of the entire production, including the process of finding sponsors, placing and creating advertisements and even hosting the event.

We are now in the second year of our exciting jorney. Season 2014/2015 includes "Evenings Of Chamber Music At Saint Peter's"  in New York and "Metis Concert Series" in Little Neck, Queens. We present  established and emerging musicians of New York Philharmonic, New York City Ballet Orchestra, leading performers of France, Germany, Spain and Russia. Our series feature classcical, early music and jazz.

Among our musicians are acclaimed Spanish-German duo "Cantar Alla Viola", Parisian pianist Svetlana Teltsova, Russian jazz star Valeri Grokhovski, New York musicians violinist Gregor Kitzis, clarinetist Thomas Piercy, "Bateira Trio", pianist Taisiya Pushkar and  cellist Jia Kim.
