Commissions
Commissioning a composer
Commissioning a composer is a fun and honourable thing. For a performer, it's a unique way of having a piece tailored for you, your needs, interests, and goals. For a composer, it's a highly responsible way of expressing yourself, implying your own style, honesty, skills, and close collaboration.
99% of my recent works were commissioned. They range from serious orchestral compositions to pieces for beginners.
I like when performers trust me. Usually, my intuition is correct. Combined with skills and talent the results are most satisfactory- at least I hope! Almost all of my commissioned works have received international prizes on composers' competitions or being regularly performed all over the world.
Fees are negotiable and depend on the budget. Some of my works were commissioned through grants, others were paid out of pocket of the commissioner.
Let's talk! There is always a solution. Please submit the form at the bottom of the page.
